Are you ready to showcase your strategic thinking and problem-solving skills? The Postgraduate Business Society (PBSoc) at UNSW, in collaboration with UNSW Founders, invites postgraduate students to participate in a unique business case competition designed to simulate real-world, industry-relevant scenarios within Australia's startup ecosystem.

This competition is an unparalleled opportunity to apply your analytical, consulting, and strategic thinking skills in a live pitch environment, gain exposure to startup founders, and compete for a significant cash prize pool!

Key Dates & How to Participate:Case Release: The preliminary case problem will be released on Monday, July 7th at 5:00 PM (AEST) on pbsocunw.com Case Access: You can access the case via our official website or through our Linktree on Instagram and LinkedIn.

Submission Deadline: All participants must submit their solutions by Thursday, July 10th at 5:00 PM (AEST).Finalists Announced: The top eight shortlisted teams will be contacted on Friday, July 11th.

The Competition Format:

This competition features a preliminary round where a panel of judges will evaluate submitted responses to the open-for-all case problem. The top eight teams will then be invited to present their solutions at the PBSoc Business Case Competition Finals Night on Monday, July 14th, 2025, held at the UNSW Founders Event Space.

All participants who submit a response in the preliminary round are eligible to attend the Case Finals Pitch Night.

Prize Pool:

Only the top 8 teams will compete for a total cash prize pool of $1000!

• 1st Place: $500
• 2nd Place: $300
• 3rd Place: $200
